One rate. You keep 80%.
Teachers keep 80% of the sale price after tax. Card fees come out of our 20%, and there are no other fees.
Where a A$10.00 sale goes
You set your price before tax. Price a resource at A$10.00 and you get A$8.00 every time; A$2.00 is ours. Tax is calculated at checkout and added on top. It's paid to the tax office, and it's never part of your 80% or our 20%.
When 80% falls on a fraction of a cent, it's rounded up to you, so you never get less than 80%.
Our 20% pays for
- Card processing, and the fee for converting a buyer's currency
- Hosting, and delivering files to buyers whenever they download them
- The copy check, reports and moderators who act on stolen work
- The card fee on a refund, and the part of a refund or a card dispute that isn't yours to cover
What we never charge
- No membership or annual fee
- No listing fees
- No per-sale seller fees
- No exclusive tier
- No fee to leave
Sell here and anywhere else. You keep your copyright and give us a non-exclusive licence to sell. You can export your files, listings, sales, reviews and opted-in buyers whenever you like.
When you get paid
We pay sellers monthly, straight to your bank. Each sale's earnings become payable after our 14-day refund window, and there's no minimum before you're paid.
Buyers pay in their own currency. Your 80% is of the price before tax in that currency, and Stripe converts it into yours, so what arrives moves with exchange rates. We never take a currency fee from your share.
The lowest price for a paid resource
Free resources are always welcome. A paid resource costs at least 3.00 in Australian, New Zealand and US dollars and in pounds, and the equivalent of A$3.00 in other currencies. Today that's:
- AUD A$3.00
- NZD NZ$3.00
- GBP £3.00
- USD US$3.00
School licences work the same way
A school licence is your base price plus your price per extra teacher for each seat after the first. You keep 80% of that whole total, after tax.
Refunds and card disputes
Refunds are only for a file that's faulty, a resource that isn't as described, or a duplicate purchase, asked for within 14 days, and a moderator reviews each one (a faulty file is still looked at after that). If a refund is approved, your share of that sale is reversed and we absorb the card fee, so you're never charged more than you earned on it.
If a buyer's bank upholds a card dispute because the resource wasn't received or wasn't as described, your share of that sale is taken back, never more than your Stripe balance holds; we cover the rest. Every other dispute is ours alone.
